Building a Better PRN: Governance and Ethical Business Practices
Strong governance and ethical business practices are the bedrock of The PR Network’s success. Over the past year, we’ve made key changes to ensure we operate with integrity and transparency.
Strengthening Governance
Our commitment to B Corp values has led to several significant changes in our governance:
B Corp Filtering: We’ve integrated B Corp filtering into our business processes to ensure that new clients’ values align with ours.
Code of Conduct: Launched a supplier and partner code of conduct, setting clear expectations for ethical behaviour.
Supporting Our Workers
Our people are at the core of our business, and their wellbeing is paramount. Here’s what we’ve done:
Employee Giving Fund: Launched this fund to allow our team to support charities close to their hearts, donating £5,500 to 11 charities.
Training and Development: Invested nearly £10,000 in training and courses, including diversity and inclusion training.
Wellness Initiatives: From the Tour de PRN to online yoga sessions, we’ve focused on holistic wellness for our team.
Looking Ahead
As we plan for the future, our focus areas include:
Job Descriptions: Integrating social and environmental goals into all job descriptions.
External Advisory Board: Building an advisory board to hold us accountable and ensure we continue improving our impact score.
Employee Benefits: Reviewing our benefits to better support our team personally and professionally.
We are committed to continuous improvement in our governance and worker support practices. Explore more about our efforts in the full Impact Report here.
